STOP GRILLING. START TRAEGERING.

I am often asked why Traeger Pellet Grills are so popular and what people like most about cooking on a Traeger Grill. Two reasons always come to mind. First, the “taste”, and second, the “ease of use” and “forgiveness” of cooking on a Traeger Pellet Grill.

Traeger Pellet Grills burn wood pellets that are 100% natural wood with no additives of any kind. Burning with wood imparts a delicious flavor unlike cooking with propane or natural gas. Traeger Grills contain an induction fan, blowing both heat and smoke around the food, cooking your food evenly from an indirect heat source. Traeger Pellets come in all of your favorite flavors from Mesquite and Hickory to Pecan and Apple.

Traeger Pellet Grills are incredibly easy to use. Simply set the temperature on your Traeger Digital Thermostat, close the lid and let your Traeger Grill do the rest. Because the Traeger Pellet Grills use an indirect heat source, you are not cooking on an open flame. This eliminates the problem of “flare ups” which occur on gas or charcoal grills.

“If you are lookin, its not cookin” we like to say with the Traeger Grills. I tell people all the time to go mow the lawn, run some errands, take a nap or what ever, the Traeger Pellet Grill will take care of itself. Say you were going to cook a whole chicken on your Traeger Grill at 350 deg. for 90 minutes, and you got stuck in traffic and the chicken cooked for 120 minutes, fear not, you will not have ruined your dinner. “Over-cooking” on a Traeger Pellet Grill will arguably dry out your food to some degree, however you will still be able to eat your meal and most likely still be in “awe” of your Traeger Grills performance.

When you purchase a Traeger Pellet Grill you are really buying three appliances in one. A Grill, a Smoker, and a Convection oven. We have talked with many a Traeger Grill owner that bake bread, cookies, even an occasional apple pie on their Traeger Grill. Using the Convection principles of the Traeger Grill at baking temperatures, you get very little if any smoke. Try baking Traeger “chocolate chip” cookies sometime for fun. You will be in for a treat! Pizza of course is an old Traeger Grill standby. If you do not have time to make a pizza from scratch, stop by the local “take and bake” and grill a pizza sometime. Crispy crust, melted cheese, and toppings with a hint of Traeger goodness will leave you coming back for more.
